Ready to help to grow our players in their basketball journey?
Are you passionate about basketball and keen to give back to the game? We’re always looking for enthusiastic, committed coaches to help grow our players both on and off the court. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we provide guidance and support to help you succeed in your coaching journey.
What is required? Our representative coaches are committed to coaching 1 to 2 times per week throughout their season and attend all tournaments (3-4 total tournaments, 1-4 days in length). Practice days are on a Sunday afternoon (all season) and a Tuesday afternoon (pre national qualification).
- U16 & U18 Season Dates: Mid-February to Mid-July
- U14 Season Dates: Mid-July to Mid-October
- Pre-season and qualification tournament locations vary across the South Island
- National tournament locations (if qualified) vary across New Zealand
